Veni Vidi O is a dynamic one night event that exhibits fresh young video work by upcoming Canadian video artists and filmmakers. Video’s are displayed in a variety of formats; there is a looped screening in an intimate formal theater, video’s are played on vintage found and borrowed televisions, projected on walls, and take form in special artist installations. Veni Vidi O has always been hosted by the Lennox Contemporary in Toronto, however 2009 has brought in tides of change, and the show is traveling to Halifax!
This year currators Stewart Innes and Alison Kobayashi are taking over the Khyber center for contemporary art for a night of video based art and performance.
