Want to see the Khyber be successful out of it’s home over the few years?
Moving out of our home and into a new space has hit our finances hard. On top of months of not being able to rent space to the public we are now incurring a lot of new big costs we couldn’t have seen coming last year: first and last month, new floors, new track lighting, power bills, space customization. Plus this year we will be attempting to hire a second full time employee to oversee rentals and fund-raising.
Everything the Khyber Arts Society does is for the cultural community. All the money we make goes into the hands of hardworking artists.
As the outgoing Director for the organization (gone July) I really really want to see the Khyber be successful at 5521 Cornwallis until it can move back into it’s home building.
I just visited CanadaHelps.org and signed up to donate $5 per month to the Khyber, it’s an easy and affordable way to donate $60 a year. I can stop the payments whenever I like. Please consider doing the same, and help show the incoming Director that the community has their back!!
