Artists wishing to participate in Nocturne must first apply to be put on HRM’s Temporary Public Art Registry. Members of the registry will then exclusively receive the Nocturne application in June. The Nocturne panel of judges will then select the artists based on their proposals. Additionally, the registry will also receive future calls for temporary public art installations in HRM.
Applying for the registry is simple. Artists must send an email with a resume and statement of interest. Only in extreme circumstances will submissions to the registry be rejected. Please note: you do note need to have your proposal for Nocturne ready at this time.
This process will allow artists participating in Nocturne to receive funding for their work.
