Montreal artist Dell Sala will be presenting a new series of paintings in the Library Gallery at the Khyber from April 13th to May 7th.

Sala's new body of work combines various techniques such as computer printouts, stencils, and handmade marks. Sala pairs off the handmade and mechanically reproduced image in an attempt to critically examine the modernist concept of the universal in painting. He includes the use of mantras and abstracted forms in this exploration of the notions of the universal image and the authentic experience in art-making.
