Skype Bar is an effort to connect artists in and outside of Halifax bi-weekly with use of the common communication platform, Skype. The bar of the gallery is open and projected onto the wall is a Skype-in session with an artist(or artists) from outside of Halifax. Often times the artist Skyping in is paired with a Halifax based artist. What the session entails is open to the artist(s). It can be loose or formal, but inherently on either end it is used to expand spacial, conceptual, and social boundaries..
