Opening reception for the 2013 Khyber Members’ Show: CXXV. Exhibition runs March 12 – 29.
2013 marks the Khyber building’s 125th anniversary and we are commemorating the milestone with CXXV. Members are encouraged to explore The Khyber’s history or develop a piece that deals with themes of history, legacy, and lineage.
Just Announced @9pm -> History tour with raconteur Dusty Keheler. Dusty will take you on a trip through the building and through time! From the building’s inception as the Church of England Institute in 1888 to it’s current incarnation as the Khyber Centre for the Arts, via a gym, naval officers’ club, health centre, refugee clinic, cafe, organic food store, gay club, music venue, and the list goes on and on…
